I would like nothing more than for Sherrod to extend an olive branch, but from some of the things that Hackett has been saying it seems as though Hackett would take it and smack him across the face with it. Regardless, I agree that something needs to happen to resolve this so that we can all move forward together behind Brown. Is there anyway we could get a unified push or campaign going to try and get that to happen. I know a lot of folks feel jilted and that it’s up to Sherrod to come to them on their terms, but maybe some concerted pressure would help him make that decision.

Looking ever more doubtful.

So, to make *me* feel better, I put up a “Dead to Me” board. Don’t know how long it will stay. Maybe until I’ve achieved “catharsis”, whatever that means.

I don’t like the “get over it” attitude. I don’t have to get over. My point in this is that I need help over it - and so far Sherrod has not been willing to do so. I won’t laugh if Sherrod loses, but I might say I told you so because I don’t think he wins. I wouldn’t mind fighting for him, if, as I’ve said above he gives me a reason.

I’ve commented on the “can’t afford to sit this one out” line as well (new bumper stickers coming?). I also can’t afford to allow such shenanigans in my party, thanks.

I don’t agree with how this went down either…but get over it. Our options are DeWine or Brown. We need this seat in more ways than one and all this talk of sitting it out is self-defeating. We can’t afford to sit this one out. Would you rather sit back on election day and laugh and point if Brown loses or would you rather celebrate the fact when he wins there will be one more progressive democrat in the Senate? I really hope people don’t end up opting for the former and do what they can to make the latter a reality.

Sigh. I was thinking I should put this behind me, but maybe I do need to publish what I wrote up from The Other Paper article. It’s the only media acknowledgement *I’ve* seen that indicates that there is even a need for Brown to reach out.

I have to be honest - I’m drifting further and further from Brown with each passing day. The handling of the VDM aftermath has been progressively worse with every passing day.
