Iran Still Worrying Me, Dems Worry Me More
Great post up on BSB today about Dems and Iraq. It points to this Raw Story post that talks about Dems laying low in Iran. As you know, Iran has been worrying me for some time.
I’m not worried as much by Iran (despite recent fear mongering headlines that they might have nukes in 16 days!), but by both our current administration’s posturing toward war and Democrats unwillingness to step up this time and oppose it. Do they really want to be in the position they are in with Iraq once more? Support it then say, “well, we thought this might not work out…we were, uh…really against it but we voted for it cuz…uh…we…uh…groupthink…fuck!”
Earth to Dem leadership: Americans don’t have goosestep support for the war anymore. You can come out now! Jesus H. Christ! Democrats better wake the hell up and fast. If I don’t start hearing some “these folks are incredibly incompetent” talk soon, I’m coming down there and it ain’t gonna be pretty. How much more clear could it be that Americans are tired of this administration’s complete lack of integrity and leadership? Do you want that letter certified Democratic leadership?
No, let’s just keep talking jobs while fucking Rome is burning. Lovely idea.
