OK, Barack just stopped by the blogger table and there is absolutely no way I was gonna get any video of that. In fact, there was a KISS concert that I went to as a kid that felt sorta like what I just experienced. People freakin’ swarmed the table. There were 30 some people gathered around wanting a signature and a photo. It was nuts.
Pho got good notes as did Yellow Dog Sammy, but Barack basically praised blogs, but warned that we can’t just be all talking to each other. He says we need to network (happening) and then reach out to on the ground stuff (needs to happen). He is voting against any threat to net neutrality – he didn’t wanna say specifically he would vote against it, but eventually did.
Even though every single question and answer was interrupted by an autograph seeker, Senator Obama was very gracious and spent a good bit of time at the table. He says we have to get over not having our chosen candidate necessarily get the nod and we need to get to the point where we support getting a Dem. Congress and Senate. ‘06 is important to building momemtum toward ‘08…which no blogger asked him about because we’ve heard too many already ask it and also his answer…but he has the mojo to do it. From the looks of folks following him around like Tiger Woods on a golfcourse, Dems want the guy to run.
