Wow. Anyone else find this incredibly dualistic and indicative of the horrible state of foreign policy our current administration – led by PNAC neocons – has given us? Expedite bombs to one side, humanitarian aid to the other. What the hell is wrong with us?

I guess the precision guided bombs are necessary though:

Not so good it seems. Oh, look, Bush is sending in more troops. That’s nice:
“Fresh strategy”. Gotta love that one. What? The other ones didn’t work? Tsk. I keep forgetting this is one of those “long wars”. Quite different from what we were told going in, right? Remember the liberator myth? Flowers and candy thrown at our feet? Mission Accomplished? Hell, even wingnuts are jumping off this bandwagon (follow-up to that here – it’s Steele from Maryland).
