New Rasmussen: Senate 44/42, Strickland Still Pounding

Ohio: Senator Mike DeWine (R) joins a growing list of GOP incumbents who have fallen behind in their bid for re-election. Sherrod Brown (D) leads DeWine 44% to 42%. While that’s well within the margin of sampling error, it’s the second time in three polls that the Democrat has held the edge. It’s troubling for any incumbent to be at 42% in a summer poll. Data and Article Coming Later. Ted Strickland (D) continues to hold a double digit lead in the race for Governor.

Continues to be bad news for Rs. Wish the lead would widen in Senate race. That one is going to be close.
