I never thought that as an African-American I would vote support the opponent of another African-American in an important election. Today more than ever we must all come to the conclusion that we must give a higher priority to the issues instead of pigmentation. Mr. Blackwell played a major role in the disenfranchisement of the African-American voter in Ohio. For this he can NEVER be forgiven.I do not know what the polls are saying since I am not an Ohio resident but I enthusiastically support Strickland and I hope Swann loses in Pennsylvania. The Clarence Thomas School of Political Thought must be vigorously attacked, especially by African-Americans.
