Padgett: Get out, Ney!

Boy, talk about showing your gratitude

Reynolds said the criminal guilty plea of Ohio GOP Rep. Bob Ney won’t affect any other races in the country, and neither will Ney’s failure to immediately resign from his congressional seat. He did not echo the sentiments of the GOP candidate for Ney’s seat, Ohio Sen. Joy Padgett, who yesterday called for Ney’s resignation.

“That is between Bob Ney and his district,” Reynolds said. “Senator Padgett has her opinion. Right now he is in alcohol rehab. I don’t know of anybody that is going to talk to him on anything.”

I mean, the guy personally hand picks you to run in his place, pleads guilty, enters rehab… and then you publicly call for his immediate resignation? Way to kick a man when he’s down, Joy.

Plunderchat:

While she is at it perhaps she should be consistant and call for the resignation of the other Ohio Republican that has plead quilty.

The man who gave her, her first loyalty political job, Bob Taft.

Geez, Joy Padgett has some huge cajones! If she beats Zack Space, will she “get out” after she’s convicted of swindling the SBA out of all that money, or will another Republican tell her that she has to do it?

The let Taft out with a lil’ spank on his pee-pee even though he had what, four (4) ethics violations?
