While we work to ensure our children grow up to be kind, loving individuals with respect for other human beings- people like Rick Santorum spread hatred. Maybe, someday, the nurturing hand of the Democrats will win over the hearts and minds of the Santorum children. Maybe- but probably not. But- I suppose everyone deserves a chance. So… check back here in 10 years for an update. I don’t think all Republicans are ‘Evil’ and ‘Brain-Dead’ (Dean’s words- not mine) – but Rick Santorum most certainly is.

My oldest daughter drove me and she while a Dean fan is not anywhere close to as political as I am. What had the biggest impact on both of us was the part of his message about unity, and how we had to focus on what united us rather than what divides us.
