Here thanks to Ohdave's unerring directions, to say thanks for the deconstruction and note that in the end videos like that refute themselves quite beautifully. I posted it at my site without comment. I'll add one: go see Plunderbund's. (Great name, incidentally.)

If the argument is "breast milk is best for infants", my reply is "OF COOOOOOURSE!". Provided the mother is eating healthy, nutritionally breast milk is good for an infant, and the bonding time with the mother is also good for the infant. But all research shows that soy is a healthy source of protein.

I'm not vegetarian, but my wife is. That means I eat a lot of tofu. Just like any food, moderation is the key. Too much beef will mess with your system too. But I have found no credible support for this kind of scare-mongering about soy foods.

Thanks for posting this. I saw this also, and I knew it was bunk, but didn't know how to intelligently refute it.

My wife and I were vegetarians for a while (not very strict now) and when our kids were born we did a lot of research on the effects of soy on fetal development and newborns. We couldn't find anything that would convince us it was a bad idea.

This guy is just a crank.
