Two months ago today, talking about potentially leasing the turnpike out (giving control of a public infrastructure asset to a for-profit company):

The conservatives who would be likely to support this type of plan will be disappointed if they don’t see in the proposal a plan for this money to go to serious tax reform and tax cuts

Now, when Ted Strickland talks about securitizing the tobacco settlement and cutting taxes with the money saved:

And giving government access to all of that money at one time shouldn’t sit well with anyone.

Harumph.
