Strickland’s Donation of Left-Over Inaugural Funds Just Another Example
Which is exactly the kind of thing you would expect from a Democrat- and a refreshing change…
Contrast that with Bob Taft- who spent his left-over celebration money ($200K) trying to convince voters to pass a ballot Issue (issue 1) that was part of his Third Frontier economic stimulus plan. The issue, which would have allowed our state to borrow $500 million dollars, was rejected by voters - saving Ohio from being thrust into even more debt by the typical, Republican, borrow-and-spend mentality.
It also seems worth mentioning that the Issue 1 campaign manager was Brian Hicks- Taft’s former Chief of Staff who was later convicted of accepting brides from Tom Noe.
