And pronouncing it should also be easy- especially after seeing that CNN commercial with Christiane Amanpour correcting everyone:

“It’s EAR-AK not EYE-RACK…” (also EAR-AN not EYE-RAN)

But I guess more Americans take their pronunciation cues from Mr. Bush than from Ms. Amanpour.
