YouTube Tuesdays - Bonus Futbol Edition! (one day *EARLY*)

Yeah, it’s a day early, but yesterday’s Copa Oro final in Chicago between Mexico and Estados Unidos served up one absolutely terrific golazo from young American midfielder Benny Feilhaber.

Fantastic match winning strike!

Plunderchat:

Ah! So THAT’S where you’ve been!

It doesn’t have to hit the ground first? Hardly seems fair. 8 defenders were all caught off guard by that one…

I wish I had been at that game. I was in Chicago over the weekend, but I had to leave Sunday morning, and the game was Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field. :(

Magnificent goal, tho. That might be the most spectacular goal in US history. It certainly was historic - it was the first time the US ever came from behind to beat the Mexicans.

It does hardly seem fair, doesn’t it Eric? I gotta say, tho, US-Mexico is a lot like OSU-M*ch*g*n. I absolutely love having “scoreboard” in this one. Some of the most amazing sporting event experiences I’ve had have been the World Cup Qualifiers at Crew Stadium against Mexico.
