Bush commutes Libby’s sentence

Unreal.

President Bush spared former White House aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby from a 2 1/2-year prison term in the CIA leak case Monday, stepping into a criminal case with heavy political overtones on grounds that the sentence was just too harsh.

Plunderchat:

Lying under oath is acceptable in the current administration….they don’t believe that the constitutional provisions of law apply to them - and believe that they have a right to protect those who lie under oath in order to protect this dministration - let them dig their own grave………..it keeps getting deeper, and deeper, and deeper with every refusal to honor a subpoena, with every refusal to allow their ‘friends’ to testify, and with very ‘commutation’ of a felony sentence

I find this predictable, amusing, and heartening as to the 2008 election…..

Jinx on the post Brian. #1: I can’t disagree. Like I mention, I think in the larger scheme of things this is good news for those of us who would like to see the likes of them removed from office. Permanently.
