Biden being Biden

Jerid posted a nice blurb yesterday afternoon (what? My paying job has been monopolizing my time lately!) about Joe Biden campaigning in New Hampshire.

As we started the Senator offered me a cookie. Yea, you read that right. He offered a cookie. Like I said, he’s a funny guy. Quick on the draw, and with a sense of fashion (check out that seer sucker suit in the photos). That’s all any of us really need out of a candidate right, fashion and humor?

Biden has a remarkable ability to relate to people. He’s charming, personable, quick-witted, and able to speak intelligently and clearly about issues that matter to people. Unfortunately, he also has a perplexing tendency to stick his foot in his mouth. I like him, and think he would be a tremendous President, but I’m terrified he’s going to have his own “Macaca” moment with an ill-advised joke or the like.

Plunderchat:

I like Biden too- but I think he already had his Macaca moment when he made his ‘clean and articulate’ comment.
