Anti-Smoking ad in Dubai

I see what they were going for, but I have to say - this is entirely too visceral. The message - smoking kills a ton of people - is good. The imagery, maybe not. This was published 9/11/07, BTW.

I will say, however, that the sheer fact that this ad was published puts a dent in the wingnut “all/most Muslims are terrorists or terrorist supporters” meme. It clearly presents 9/11 as a bad thing, and did so in a country that is 96% Muslim.
