New Pew Research Poll Bad News For Mormon Candidate?

While Mitt Romney trys to downplay the specifics of his Mormon beliefs and play up his generic sense of ‘faith’-
a new poll from the Pew Research Center
shows that it might not help him much.

According to the poll, only 53% of American have a favorable opinion of Mormons. This is the same percentage of people who view Muslim Americans favorably.

At the bottom of the list: Athiests - only 35% favorable.

At the top: Jews - 76% favorable.
