Ron Paul’s Big Haul

I was going to write about this last night when I first heard about it but, to be honest, I wasn’t sure it was real.

According to the AP Ron Paul “hauled in more than $4.2 million in nearly 24 hours” from over 37,000 online contributors.

The fundraising drive was organized around the observance of Guy Fawkes Day.

All I have to say is: Run, Ron, Run!

And if the Republicans won’t nominate you- PLEASE RUN AS A THIRD PARTY CANDIDATE.

I’ll even donate money to that!

Wow.. I’m impressed to hear you say that you would support Ron Paul. What in particular makes him agreeable to you?

I’m not going to vote for Ron Paul.

But if he decided to run as a third-party candidate in the general election then I would certainly make a contribution to his campaign.

The reason is simple: In the middle of a war, with the approval ratings of congress and the president at all-time lows, a third-party candidate like Ron Paul could suck away much-needed votes from the Republican candidate.
