Not to be outdone by Rudy and his endorsement by Pat Robertson, Mike Huckabee’s campaign announced a bunch of endorsements from “the Faith Community” today including one from Ohio’s own Phil Burress, President of Citizens for Community Values.
And if Huckabee’s people were looking for some support from other crazy wingnuts like Robertson then they certainly scored big with the Burress endorsement.
Burress, a former porn addict turned “values” activist has a long history of pushing his christofascist agenda of intolerance on Ohioians.
Just the kind of guy you want on your list of endorsees if you are trying to prove your allegience to the far right faction of the GOP.
Burress has done it all…
Prosecuted art museums for obscenity, banned gay-marriage and banned adult book stores and strip clubs.
He’s even attacked Mitt Romney for not stopping adult guests from watching adult movies at Marriott hotels.
