A Mayor, A Porn Addict and Free Market Advocate Walk Into A Bar…

I’m still trying to make sense of this press release about independent supporters of the Sirius/XM merger.

It starts like this:

The Mayor of Nashville has joined Citizens for Community Values and Americans for Prosperity as the latest supporters of the pending merger of XM Satellite Radio and SIRIUS Satellite Radio.

The Mayor Nashville - a large, midwestern town famous for its country music industry - certainly has an opinion worth quoting in an article about a big merger in the Satellite radio industry.

And the opinion of the President of an organization focused on limited government and free markets is also relevent since the story is about government regulation and its impact.

What I absolutely DO NOT understand is the inclusion of a quote from PHIL FUCKING BURRESS.

Why the fuck do people keep asking for Phil Burress’s opinion about random crap like presidential candidates and satellite radio?

Phil Burress is a worthless piece of shit- an admitted porn-addict who leads Citizens for Community Values in its biased, shameful, hate-filled mission to force intolerance and exclusion on the citizens of Ohio.

Please, people, stop quoting Phil Burress.
