Hillary Plans to Sue Texas Democratic Party?
Texas Democrats are worried about rumors that Hillary’s campaign may plan to sue the Texas Democratic Party over their complicated process for selecting delegates.
They are so worried, in fact, that Chad Dunn, a lawyer for the party, sent out a letter to both campaigns warning them that legal action against the state party “could prove to be a tragedy for a reinvigorated Democratic process.”
I think this is a good time to remind the Clinton folks what happened to Dennis Kucinich back in January when HE sued the Texas Democratic Party…. he lost.
Back then, Dunn responded to the win by the party:
“The democracy in our state allows party members to make the rules. The party has a Constitutional right to govern itself, and that’s what the court found.”
