I’ve received three robo-calls supporting Obama in as many days: two from Treasurer Rich Courdray and one from Mayor Mike Coleman.

But these are more than just support calls- they seem to be a serious, and potentially effective attempt at a robo-call-based GOTV effort. I don’t remember answering any phone survey for Obama – but they still seem to know I’m a supporter.

Each call not only tells me when and where I can vote early- but also offers me help finding my polling location (by calling an 800-number or checking their website). They even offered to find me a ride!

I wonder if Mayor Mike will come pick me up himself.

Anyway, here’s the audio if you are interested…
