Reverend Jeremiah Wright and scores of unjustly treated people of many colors have been trying to tell us over the past 35 years that White Supremacy was the root cause to many problems destroying America.
Letâ€™s look at the historic facts. Absolute power corrupts!

Nothing is more racist and sexist than 43 White men being sought-out, supported and elected president by mostly White people. Not excluding a few presidents who would have NEVER been elected if it weren’t for the Black vote.

We have staggering numbers of human casualties in an unjust war that should have never been waged. Our nation and world are in an economic slide and America’s standing in the world is at an all time low. And too many of you are belaboring about an angry, not hateful Black man who was ignored for 35 years.

Wake-up America and take back your country now!

Thanks Maia. Great comment. I don’t think I completely agree that “white power” is the crux of the ‘08 campaign – or Hillary and Bill’s contention that she’s more electable.

I do know that race IS an issue and I’m very proud of the way Barack spoke about it. I hope we are able to continue a national discussion in this way without being so divisive. I’m sure it will be a struggle to do so – especially with the more nefarious elements of the political right.

And, exactly what has Governor Rendell done to eliminate the culture of racism in his state of “brotherly love” since his win over Lynn Swann? Is he just telling it like it is or is he also thankful? Is he regretting or bragging about the fact that “White Conservatives are not ready to vote for an African American?”

I think that because he sees power in skin color, Rendell is content with racism. White power is the crux of the ‘08 campaign. White power is also at the root of Hillary and Bill Clinton’s certainty of her being more electable.

Thank God, Americans are growing more weary of the color-line. This time, as an old song goes, “we’re gona make it”.

Rendell says he is just telling the truth. Race is an issue and we’re going to have to learn how to talk about it without pointing denigrating fingers at each other. I agree. But, let’s not forget to grant Rev. Wright, Barack Obama and others the same accord.
