Geraldine Ferraro, former VP candidate and current member of Hillary’s finance committee on Obama:

“If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position,” she continued. “And if he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.”

Can anyone tell me what Ms. Ferraro means here? What concept? A black President? Doesn’t she want us to fall all over the “concept” of a woman President? Obama would probably already be the nominee if he were a white man. Ask Ohio.

I submit to the gentlelady from New York that the country might be caught up in another concept all-together. The concept of a new direction and an end to politics as usual. Being a member of Team Billary probably prevents her from even recognizing this.
