It looks like Ken is finally breaking out the mailing list from his failed gubernatorial campaign.
I got a recruiting email yesterday from Ken in his new role as Chairman of the Coalition for a Conservative Majority (CCM).
The CCM, in case you forgot, is the group Blackwell formed with disgraced congressman Tom Delay in order to organize grass-roots conservative activism to “battle the liberal shadow party” that controls our government.
It turns out Ken and Tom are going to be in Hilliard tonight trying to get sign up some new ‘conservative activists’ to help fight the liberals.
I’m not sure if these guys have really thought this whole project through. Grassroots activism works for liberals because they are ‘activists’. Conservatives, by their very nature, are not. This is going to be a serious uphill battle – and I predict is will fizzle up and die before we even get close to November.
Just the same, I think I’ll show up and see if I can score some free food. Anyone want to join me?
