Ohio Senate Passes Anti-Choice Bill
Well- it looks like the State Senate DOESN’T haven’t any more sense than the House.
They just passed HB 314, an anti-choice bill that basically forces doctors to perform an ultrasound before performing an abortion and to give a picture of the embryo/fetus to the patient.
Like I said before, this bill has nothing to do with informed consent and everything to do with the religious right trying to force their values on the rest of us.
Governor Strickland needs to veto HB 314. ( click here to let him know )
Thanks to the following senators who voted against this crappy bill: Capri Cafaro, Teresa Fedor, Eric Kearney, Dale Miller, Ray Miller, Sue Morano, Tom Roberts and Shirley Smith.
