PB Late Night Theater: Ireland

My final act in honor of St. Patrick’s Day… some of my favorite Irish music…

Metallica actually covered this next one. This, however, is not Metallica - it’s The Dubliners. And it’s flippin’ awesome.

The final song is bound to be ultra-controversial. If Irish politics make you uncomfortable (as well as strongly worded language), I suggest you skip right on by this one. It should be pretty clear from my blogging history that I prefer non-violent resolution whenever possible; what I like about this song is how it conveys the pugnacious Irish spirit. After all, all we Irish are good for is getting drunk and fighting. Wanna fight about it?
