In fact, it's done quite a bit of good in the world.) And it's not nearly as anathema to mainstream Christianity as you would like to portray it. I very nearly included a bit about this very issue in my original post, but opted to edit it out for brevity and conciseness. Apparently I should have left it in. #1, Liberation Theology is hardly new (and hardly comparable to the Westboro Baptist Church, as I’ve seen claimed in the Ohio right-wing blogosphere.
