I’ve featured nerdcore before in this series; specifically the very fun MC Frontalot.

Tonight, it’s ytcracker, replete with 8-bit samples and some seriously obscure references. Enjoy something you’ll probably never hear on ClearChannel. (Language warning.)

Fun fact - he’s swiping at mc chris in this song. mc chris voiced Hesh on Sealab 2021 as well as MC PeePants and Sir Loin on Aqua Teen Hunger Force from Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. My first introduction to nerdcore hip hop was via mc chris’s song Fett’s Vette, told from Boba Fett’s POV about bounty hunting to make his car finance payments. There are tons of live performances of this song on YouTube, but I thought we’d stick with the Baddd Spellah remix - with a video made in Star Wars: Galaxies (the first 1.5 minutes or so is a skit).

If you do some hunting - it can be a challenge - there is additional nerdcore to be had on teh intertubes. MC Hawking (who I think I’ve featured before too), Beefy, Myf, Ham-STAR… lots of greatly entertaining stuff out there. I’ll save a great MC Hawking track for later.

Yes, I am a nerd. And I can’t wait to get home tomorrow night from my trip out here to San Diego so I can plant my ass on the couch and play some Xbox 360. Teaching for 8 hours a day can wear you out.
