Happy Equal Pay Day

If you are an average woman, today you caught up with your male peers… for their 2007 income.

Today is Equal Pay Day. If you’re a woman, today marks how far into the year you must work, on average, to earn as much as man with a comparable job earned in 2007. It’s sickening to think about, really.

Visit the ACLU’s blog (link above) to learn about the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, which is scheduled to be voted on tomorrow.
