Help Stop Racist, Anti-Obama Blog

There are a lot of Obama attack sites and blogs out there.

But I recently came across one of the worst examples I’ve ever seen: DontVoteObama.net.

The link was actually posted in a comment attacking Jill over at WLST by someone claiming to be a Democrat angry at Obama.

Hardly seems likely though given that this site presents false, misleading and outwardly racist material related to Obama.

I already wrote a letter to their hosting company, but I urge you to go to their blog – which is hosted by Blogspot – and click the “Flag As Objectionable” button at the top.

This will notify blogspot that there is nasty, racist crap so they can investigate.

    This goes around peddling the same baseless lies that go circulating in emails that my parents, aunts, and uncles get. I think ME says that because of the “Minority Rights” anti-abortion image in the left column.

    Sadly, people are entitled to this kind of speech – it’s hard to see where this stops being peddling lies and turns into being hate-inciting speech, though.

    First, let’s all agree that this blog should be banned on formatting issues alone. Somewhere buried at the bottom when the author is talking about how he isn’t racist he mentiones that he has said in former posts that he was a Keyes supporter in his Senate race against Obama.

    And because he keeps bring upon Alan Keyes, too.

    So that’s why.

    As a voting registered Democrat, I have to admit that a much wiser choice for the historic position of the First Black President of the United States of America would have been Alan Keyes.

    There is NO WAY in hell a Democrat would publish this crap OR push for Alan Keyes as a candidate.

    Obama’s proposal of CHANGE requires sound judgement to determine which things should change, and which things should be kept, cherished and embraced. Unfortunately Obama and his left wing supporters want to throw out the baby with the dirty bath water. They have no appreciation of U.S. history, or the blood, sweat, and sacrifice it’s taken to make America the greatest country in the world. They seem to believe that before you can create change, first you must discredit, or destroy everything that’s come before. Obama relies on young voters apathy and ignorance of American history and tradition, which makes it easier for them to buy into CHANGE, without any sense of what kind of change is needed. Evidence of this, is Obama supporters embracing his disrespectful alteration of the Presidential seal, to further his personal ambition. Or, Obama’s black liberation church discrediting Thomas Jefferson, because of an alleged affair with a black slave. If Obama is elected President, I predict that America’s history will be gradually revised, and America will become barely recognizable.

    Keyes did not run against Obama for Senate. They are from different states. Someone needs to learn a little about or government.

    I cannot believe you guys are playing the racism card. Do you know how many black people I have seen that are voting for Obama just because he is black and claim that anyone that doesn’t think he is the best choice is a racist?

    This is completely ridiculous. Maybe if Obama would pitch himself as an American instead of a black American or the product of civil rights struggles and tell the truth he would not fall victim to the few racists out there. If he wants to present himself as a black american instead of just america hell get what he deserves.

    I have hispanic blood but I am not hispanic. Obama is not black. McCain is not white. We are all simple AMERICANS.

    So if Obama wants to avoid the racism he maybe shouldnt have been a part of it through his church and speeches.

    Thanks for the comment Victor. Pointing out clear racist attacks as well as less clear dog whistling is hardly “playing the race card”.

    If you’d do some research you’d find out that Barack Obama almost NEVER pitches himself as a black American. That doesn’t mean he ignores the reality of becoming the first black President and how hard that is given the number of people that still choose to prejudice others based on their race.

    I’m certain Obama makes reference to being black less than McCain references being a POW.

    Get what he deserves? WTF does that mean? If he embraces his being of mixed racial heritage he deserves to have the racists attack him? That’s some kind of rationalization from a Hispanic American.

    You are blind to the reality of the situation. Obama is most certainly “black”. McCain is most certainly “white”. Ignoring the issue certainly won’t make it go away. No matter how much you look away, the elephant is indeed still in the room with you.

    Your church/speech comment makes no sense. You assume his personal church activity and his speeches somehow either WERE racist or invited it. I don’t get it.

    I’m left pretty unconvinced in your arguments. I do appreciate you commenting on the site, though.

    would anyone here allow a first year law student to represent them in court for murder? I don’t know anyone who would, so why would we want to vote Barak to represent us as a nation to the world? I’m just trying to be logical in my decision and am looking for other logical voices to help me see. i’ve looked at his record, and anything that could be used against him was a no vote. what has he accomplished? i cannot find anything on that subject. please, help me find the truth. facts, not opinions would be great!

    has anyone noticed that Obama is taking over exactly like Hitler did. Through the bad economy. Next I bet he will try to get emergency powers, such as complete control of the military. If he does than everyone on the RIGHT side better protest and don’t let THEM silence you because its what happens in these next few years that will decide the fate of America. If a 14 year old can see whats going on than there are some pretty stupid adults out there.

    So are you saying that you are trying to get a blog banned and erased from the internet becuase it’s racist and hateful? As Americans we have the right to be angry and pissed off at whatever the hell we want to. If something pisses you off your allowed to tell everyone that you want to and say ANYTHING you want about it. I believe that America is the best country because of the fact that if you want to be racist, you can. If you want to be a Neo-Nazi you can. If you want to hate everything that America is, you have the right to. Your mad because someone has the right to attack someone and be angry at them. What do you want, something like China where if you weren’t at Tiananmen Square you don’t know anything about it and it isn’t in any history books or in the internet. Do you want a world like in the movie V for Vendetta where people give up their rights to live in peace and harmony? As long as America is a free country you have the right to hate, dissent, harrass, fight, disaprove anyhting you want to and shouldn’t have to worry about people shutting you down because you expressed what you believed.
