Huge turnout at Obama rallies in Oregon


This kinda slipped under the radar this weekend, but Obama had an estimated 75,000 folks show up at a rally on Sunday in Oregon. Wow.

Yes, and I can’t imagine many are racists. Hmmm. “Hard working”, “blue collar” doesn’t mean racist afterall! Novel idea!

Seriously would be nice to understand the difference in demographic. Oregon and Kentucky are about the same race-wise:

Oregon - 90.5% white
Kentucky - 90.2% white

What’s the difference?

High School graduates

Oregon - 85%
Kentucky - 74%

College degree

Oregon - 25%
Kentucky - 17%

Poverty

Oregon - 12.9%
Kentucky - 16.3%
