He's obviously courting evangelicals, which I understand on one level. Pisses me off on my most basic of levels, but then again I'm a Buddhist agnostic. Fact is he will be required to lead everyone and be as many things to as many people as possible. I like that versus the alternative. Still I agree with you that he should push on his core issues of change and hope and not spread out too thin. No reason to. I didn't think FISA was any big deal nor the patriotism stuff which made some lefties uncomfortable and supposedly "rattled his base", but too many more things and I'm going to be on the realign Obama bus.
