I’m not sure about that. He’s obviously courting evangelicals, which I understand on one level. Pisses me off on my most basic of levels, but then again I’m a Buddhist agnostic.

Fact is he will be required to lead everyone and be as many things to as many people as possible. I like that versus the alternative.

Still I agree with you that he should push on his core issues of change and hope and not spread out too thin. No reason to. I didn’t think FISA was any big deal nor the patriotism stuff which made some lefties uncomfortable and supposedly “rattled his base”, but too many more things and I’m going to be on the realign Obama bus.

Mr. Obama is so busy trying to be all things to all people that he has lost the ability to be anything to anyone. He sounded a whole lot better when he was pushing hope and change. He does not seem to grasp the specifics. I think we are all starting to figure that out.
