If you are looking for reposted campaign press releases, then you’ve come to wrong place.
That doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot of good information coming out of the campaigns though. I get really good stuff almost every day- especially from the Kilroy camp – and I really wish I had the time to post about each one. Since I live in the 15th, I really feel like I should be writing more about that race in particular.
Not that Mary Jo really needs any help. She’s obviously the better candidate. She has great name recognition. And she’s way ahead in the one poll I’ve seen (though I did get called for another one last week- so I’m expecting some new results soon). Oh, and she isn’t a former bank lobbyist. So there’s that.
I know there are other blogs (Ohio15th for example) working to keep her message out there, but I still feel like I’m slacking bit.
And lately I’m getting reminded of it more and more.
Because now when I do close my laptop and finish feeding the babies and sit down to watch some TV, I end up seeing the latest Kilroy commercial (see below). I’ve seen it like ten times today on CNN and, I have to say, it’s pretty damn good.
Mary Jo should have put her daughters in her ads a long time ago. Also- the picture of her with her long hair is really quite endearing. Kind of reminds me of that picture of the Clintons- probably from the same year.
So anyway, I’m going to try to give Ms. Kilroy a little more attention- maybe a weekly summary of events at the very least, assuming I can’t get around to researching and writing something new.
