Monday roundup
In case you missed the action, here are a few highlights from yesterday in Denver.
First, a FOX reporter tries to interview some folks in the “Recreate ’68″ march, with little success. Yeah, there are a number of chuckleheads in the crowd, but the reporter’s insistence that refusing to talk to him is tantamount to not believing in freedom of speech is about the most stupid thing I’ve ever heard.
Here’s a video of Obama greeting the convention after Michelle’s speech. His daughters and their unscripted interruptions (and his reactions) are great, and just the kind of thing to endear swing voters. Yeah, that’s silly, considering it should be about issues, but this stuff matters, and he and his family come across as incredibly genuine.
Finally, Michelle Obama’s speech. It’s good. Real good.
