McCain Camp Lashes Out at Media, Punishes CNN for Campbell Brown Smackdown of Tucker Bounds

Boohoo. Ouch:

McCain’s campaign has also put its words into action, stripping CNN of an opportunity to interview the candidate after what it felt was unfair treatment of an aide in an appearance Monday on the cable channel.

The real response would be to get someone able to answer simple questions, unlike Tucker Bounds:

I was hearing McCain was due on Larry King Live tonight, but it got nixed. Somebody call the waahmbulance!

This is also an example of why the only woman that McCain would choose - among the many far more qualified, moderate and palatable to even likable choices out there - had to be someone who would be ingratiated to him and NOT treat him like Cambpell Brown. So - compared to Obama outright saying he wants a running mate who will not always say yes, McCain has made sure he’s got someone ho, as his people have said, will be at the masters feet and as Bounds says, is lucky to be running with such a great man AND has McCain speechwriters - goodness help us - to rewrite the entire speech for the running mate because it was too “masculine” (see the WaPo today).
