Glen Beck on Clearance

Wandering around my local Target tonight I happened to pass this CLEARANCE endcap between the luggage aisle and the lightbulb section…

It was there that I found a bunch of copies of Glen Beck’s book on sale for a couple of bucks, along side some school-locker locks, an LED lantern, some car polishing rags and an outdated version of one of those guitar games.

Nothing worth buying here. Moved on to the dental health aisle.

    I'm amazed they didn't also have piles of vouchers for Palin's book, due for release next week and already selling on Amazon for $9 — snicker.

    I find it tremendously disconcerting that this champion of freedom of speech is being attacked by anyone! As a person close to retirement, the changes being wrought by the Socialist governnment currently in power will not impact me nearly as much as it will my children and grandchildren. If you are young, please consider doing some independent investigation in order to realize how your knowledge of history, science and life has been so misshaped by the current school books. Even as a history minor in the 70's I am absolutely amazed at my miss-education. Please do not be dismissive or you will have the health care of Canada, England and the rest of Europe. It is nearly too late! Please pay attention.

    As a person close to retirement you are most likely counting on that big 'socialist government' program called Medicare to help you pay the healthcare costs necessary to keep you peeing and pooping regularly and to keep your eyes and toes from being cut off because you couldn't otherwise afford your diabetes meds.

    Sorry- it has nothing to do with being black.? I am not for medicare, and not especially in favor of social security,? The private sector could handle both of?these governmental?boondoggles much?better-both quality and cost?would be better if it were in the private sector.? Look at laser surgery—price going down as it it not?government controlled.

    ?I was in favor of allowing us to use the money we pay to ss to buy mutual funds, bonds or what ever risk ratio we choose to purchase.? The difference it would be in our name and we could actually benefit from it when we retire.? Who knows about social security.? Being black is just an easy way for the progressives to criticize anyone who disagrees with them.? It has nothing to do with my opinion.
