Define success. It sounds like you define success as someone who voted for NAFTA,crafted and shepherded 24 UNFAIR trade agreements through the Congress,resulting in a net loss of over 3 million U.S. jobs overseas.
I am willing to bet that in this economy most Americans will define success as someone who has created thousands of jobs here in America for the last 41 years.
