Boy Won’t Say Pledge Until There Really IS “Liberty and Justice for All”

I’m working on signing this kid up to blog here at PB as we speak:

Heh. Great kid. If I knew how to get in touch I’d send him a PB tee to wear at school.

  • Did I miss something?

When did his father say it was an atypical act of juvenile delinquency? He said initially he was upset. But as a good father would, he listened to his son and realized he had made an informed decision.

On the other hand, I thought John Roberts acted smug and condescending throughout the interview.
  • 2:42. He says it. I didn't pick up this smugness from Roberts myself. I thought he chuckled a bit at maybe how smart this kid was, but didn't seem negative to me.
