Tennessee Mayor: Muslim President Hates Jesus, Charlie Brown

by Joseph on December 4, 2009 · View Comments

Russell Wiseman, the Mayor of Arlington, TN, posted this on Facebook:

“Ok, so, this is total crap, we sit the kids down to watch ‘The Charlie Brown Christmas Special’ and our muslim president is there, what a load…..try to convince me that wasn’t done on purpose. Ask the man if he believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he will give you a 10 minute disertation (sic) about it….w…hen the answer should simply be ‘yes’….”

Also…

“you know, our forefathers had it written in the original Constitution that ONLY property owners could vote, if that has stayed in there, things would be different……..”

That’s all.

Shalom Joseph,

I love it when ignorant people who have never actually read our Constitution pretend the have and then pontificate about sections that never existed.

B'shalom,

And this is an elected official. This truly makes me wonder about our country on so many levels. #1…who CARES if someone is a Muslim? This is America and we SHOULD BE free to worship (or not) as we as individuals see fit without persecution. #2…shouldn't this guy be upholding the Constitution? He's persecuting someone for a religion the person doesn't even practice. And that person happens to be the President. #3…it's a television program! Honestly! I don't scream discrimination when someone interrupts one of my favorites! #4…SERIOUSLY?!?

part of the irony here is that charles schultz, creator of the peanuts cartoons, probably died an atheist.

I can admit that we have a president that engages his constituents as opposed to one hiding in a bunker plotting the end of days.

Bush would have done it as well, if he wasn't choking on his own words and stumbling through is speeches like the village idiot. He should have continued drinking and doing coke, maybe it would have helped his rhetoric
