I should probably qualify this: “The reason they make money is to provide coverage.”

The reason we GIVE them money is to provide coverage when we need it. The reason they make money (and lots of it) is by denying it.

More problematic than the content of the amendment is that he's busy putting forth legislative JOKES when he should be taking his job seriously and working on legitimate legislation. Doesn't sound like he's very legit.
