Our companion site, Ohio Budget Watch, has the story about how the House yesterday passed the Transportation budget despite the fact that it contains a tax break for the oil industry that several major business groups oppose and was added by the House Finance Committee.  Take a look at what business groups opposed the tax break and why.

It also talks about how the House Democrats attempted to amend the budget to remove the tax break and earmark the proceeds of the oil industries’ tax to restore funding for mass transit.  It was defeated along party lines.
