“Oxymoronical” Video of State Senator Kris Jordan Emerges

OK, it’s more irony than an oxymoron, but since Kris used the term “oxymoronical” in the video I couldn’t resist that title.  In 2009, then State Rep Kris Jordan speaks to Ohioans For Concealed Carry at their “Party in the Park 6″ held at Liberty Park on July 11th.  Part of that talk seems very ironic now given the fact that Kris bought his wife a 9mm weapon for protection in their home when the protection she may have needed was from him:

    This is crazy. Exchanging weapons at Christmas is a weird take on “Gift of the Magi”. 
    There isn’t much difference between Jordan’s rhetoric and the people who join the modern militia and sovereign citizens movements. Bonus points for conflating Obama with Hitler and Stalin.  Double dog whistle bonus for throwing in “states rights”.

    And I just love the way his official bio notes that both he and his wife have concealed carry permits. This guy sounds like he has some, um, issues. I wonder how much of a deficit he’s compensating for, if you know what I mean.

    I know that if I lived in Powell, I certainly would carry.  You never know when a rogue Democrat will hit your neighborhood, or even a battered women’s group going door to door asking for donations.  Yeah, this is what we need to solve our school problems, our job problems, or anything else that ails us.

    The family that buys guns together stays together?  Nice slam on downtown Columbus, too.  And if he doesn’t trust the government, then why did he want to become part of the government.

    Is the verdict in or out as to whether Hitler was a gun control advocate.  I thought that one is still being argued.  I think one can find it either way.

    Guns are over rated.  They do not solve problems but obviously as Jordon now knows, create them.  What is he doing bragging about giving them as Christmas gifts?  Must of got a lot of benefit from the NRA lobby for that one.  Just remember, the next time you are in a bar, that person beside you might be a member of Congress and thanks to johnnie and this mess of representatives – well – didn’t they make it legal to carry … in bars.  Hmmm…has Ohio gone mad or is it just me?

    Hmmm…there is a great group of folks called Capital Crossing, I think, who work hard to keep Columbus streets in safe as well as relatively clean order.  If they are on duty and you call them  they will help you to your vehicle.  You don’t need no stupid firearm.

    Thanks for the information. Is this the same legislation written by ALEC and being forced onto the American people all over. They just passed legislation like this in New Hampshire. Why do the R’s have to copy off of someone else’s paper? Because they are stupid, evil and lazy well below average.

    Jordan is an evil monster dressed as a human being. Feel bad for his wife, hope she escapes to safety.  Not surprised since the R’s are populated with he -me women haters who don’t understand the constitution, but neither did the racist, traitorous Confederacy. Looks like Kris and his rotten, radical Rethug friends = Neo-Confederacy. The south is back, worse than ever and has infected the north.

    Hope it isn’t fatal.

    I sure hope he’s telling the truth about his wife being a better shot than he is… maybe he should think about that, next time he starts shoving her and waving guns in her face.
    Why is he still in office?
