Some say Mitt Romney is SB5 in a suit and tie. I’ve also heard he’s a robot whose mechanical heart beats a union busting tune.

If Mitt Romney becomes President of the United States, we have reason to believe that everything we fought against about the unsafe and unfair Senate Bill 5 will come raining down on our heads. The danger is having an SB5 President will mean no rally, no referendum, no repeal, will be able to stop the stripping away of our rights. We all know Mitt supported Senate Bill 5, but it gets worse.

He also supports a federal right to work for less law.

Right to work is the only way to go, and I’d like to see to see that at the national level.” ~ Mitt Romney

He also wants to eliminate the National Labor Relations Board:

“We got to shut off the funding to the [NLRB]. We ought to shut it down.” ~ Mitt Romney

The National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) was enacted by Congress in 1935. The NLRA guaranteed workers the right to join unions without fear of management reprisal.  It created the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to enforce this right and prohibited employers from committing unfair labor practices that might discourage organizing or prevent workers from negotiating a union contract.

Mitt’s robotic mission seems to be to destroy union rights and protections for Americans. The only way to stop him is with a big blue wave that will fry his circuits and stop his merciless advance. Momentum for the win increased today when Richard Trumka tweeted…

The AFL-CIO has just voted proudly and enthusiastically to endorse @BarackObama for a second term as President.

Rumor has it smoke could be seen rising up from Mitt Romney’s strangely square head when he heard the news.

I see Mitt Romney speaking on TV and all I can hear is a muted voice saying “Oilcan!”

Obama would pummel this Ken Doll in a debate for his fip-flopping. It would be almost inhumane to watch this human pretzel try to weasel his way out of contradictions on every issue over the years. Republicans were counting on a sour economy carrying any bozo they nominate into office. They’re now panicking to the point of possibly writing off the presidency for damage control in the Congress and state legislatures. And now having picked a fight with women they’re in a world of hurt. The good ole republican white boy club is in its death throws and they don’t event know it.

Not to disagree, but I don’t think the support of the AFL-CIO was ever in contention. Hell, Mitt probably thinks the AFL-CIO is some kind of American-Canadian indoor-football league.

No matter who gets nominated, I predict the talking heads at Fox will suddenly decry the “need” for presidential debates. They’ll start saying the venue is artificial, the questions manipulated and manipulative, that we’ll never get an idea of anything but Obama being slick and Mitt not getting a fair chance, so why not do away with them altogether? Let the candidates advertise on TV, let the consumers–er, voters–meet with them, let rallies happen–but debates where two candidates talk face-to-face–no, that’s old-fashioned, that’s not how the we do it now, etc., etc.
