Cliff Schecter was on ONN’s Capitol Square this morning talking about his new book, “The Real McCain”.
He does a good job beating down the whole “straight talker” myth…

She needs to come out and publicly say that she is not interested in being Obama’s VP.
She should volunteer to help him pick the best VP for the ticket and take herself out of the running.

Is it just me or does Cindy McCain come across as kind of creepy and disconnected from reality?
Maybe it’s the botox and the too-perfect eyebrows.
Or maybe it’s her smug, I’m-better-than-you-because-I-adopted-a-brown-baby, I’m-so-rich-I-can-spend-all-my-time-volunteering attitude that seems to permeate every thing she says.

The latest Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll has Obama up in Florida, Pennsylvania AND Ohio…
Florida: Obama edges McCain 47 - 43 percent;
Ohio: Obama tops McCain 48 - 42 percent;
Pennsylvania: Obama leads McCain 52 - 40 percent.
