Congresswoman Mary Jo Kilroy’s campaign has a petition defending the right of Ohioans to directly elect their U.S. Senators.
Stivers also proposes getting rid of the U.S. Department of the Interior, Housing, Agriculture, Education, Housing and Urban Development, Transportation, Veterans Affairs, and Energy.
Stivers also indicated that he would support replacing the income tax with a sales tax, support the elimination of automatic withholding of taxes, eliminate the ability of family members to petition the government to allow the legal [...]

And he might not even be available… unless he is released on bond in time.
Because the DDN reported today he turned himself to police to face charges of menacing and violating a protection order.
But, hey, he at least made national TV cable news…

According to the Hamilton Pulse Journal, Ohio’s Tea Party groups are PISSED at the Ohio Republican Party for using this logo to promote the ORP’s preferred candidates over the Tea Party preferred candidates.
And they’re particularly pissed that they using it to 1) promote Jon Husted’s candidacy; 2) promote State Central Committee incumbents facing….. Tea Party challengers!
Tea Party leaders say the Ohio GOP is ?declaring war? on the movement with mailers claiming all of its endorsed candidates embrace Tea Party values.

Apparently, he allegedly violated a protection order taken out by the mother of his son by showing up to her house unexpected.

I don’t know about you but I remember being 17 all too well. I remember thinking I was the smartest person in the world. And I remember thinking my parents were complete idiots who didn’t understand me or any of the teenage turmoil, tension and occasional trauma I was going through.
