If there was any self awareness among those on the right they’d be rightly embarrassed by the state of their so-called leadership. That’s a big if. The lack of self awareness is fairly well documented. The entire wingnut base is either afraid to look in the mirror or damned proud of their insipid emptiness.
The first dose of this vapid wasteland of ideas came in the form of a Governor from Alaska who had a sly little wink and a folksy manner that endeared her to masses of American zombies who were lobotomized by years of listening to a soulless talker with a golden mic. They showed up in droves like lemmings to a cliff, willing to spew hatred and vitriol in the names of their masters.
The next chapter came in the form of a non-plumber from Ohio who questioned Barack Obama during the 2008 Presidential Campaign under false pretenses. He became a hero that the lemmings followed as well, eating up his wingnut guano like young nested birds. Mouths open wide and necks stretched to get their share of the shit he was feeding them.
Limbaugh. Palin. Wurzelbacher. They’re all a bunch of cheap whores riding their 15 minutes of fame like cheap mules. Beating those bastards into as much fame and money as the creature celebrity will bear.
Limbaugh has done it for years and has racked up far more than his 15 minutes.
Joe the Plumber went from random dude to book deal at a breathtaking clip, never mind his working class credentials that should have called him back to the fold as a hard working, greasy fingered, blue collared working class plumber. No, Joe would rather jet around book stores talking about hard work rather than doing it. He’d rather sell you a book about “being a regular guy” than actually being one. He’s a cheap whore riding a cheap mule.
So now Sarah Palin quits a job where she can actually have some kind of impact to do what? Run for President in 2012? The idea seems unlikely given Americans tend to prefer those who fulfill their elected commitments as a condition of their obtaining higher office. Quitting is uniquely un-American. Don’t think I wouldn’t love her making a run, but I think it much more likely we’ll see her as a regular on Fox and Friends.
The story becomes a bit more clear today and confirms suspicions of many – Palin quit to cash in. She missed her target of VP and wants to at least gain something out of if before the flame begins to fade. Levi Johnston, once a part of the Sarah Palin Wingnut Sideshow Circus, dishes:
Johnston says he lived with the Palin family from early December to the second week in January. He claims he heard the governor several times say how nice it would be to take advantage of the lucrative deals that were being offered, including a reality show and a book.
So for all the rhetoric and hand-wringing, for all the folksy cuteness and engineered sloganism, in the end Sarah Palin is yet another in a long line of cheap whores on cheap mules.
I know, I know. Hoops holiday. Consider this multi-tasking. This was too good to pass up. Joe the Non-Plumber is horny. He thought you all should know and so do I:
“He came up to me, grabbed my hand, and shook it,” said Joe the Plumber. “If I didn’t know any better I would say he was 30 years old. He definitely has a great confidence about him. I enjoyed talking with him…. He’s definitely sharp.”
Shock of all shocks. A 13 year old kid is sharper than Joe the fucking Non-Plumber! I sit here beside myself.
Wurzelbacher? Limbaugh? Jindal? Krohn? Who will lead them?
Tom Daschle withdrew his nomination on Tuesday to be President Barack Obama’s Health and Human Services secretary, faced with problems over back taxes and potential conflicts of interest.
Me pondering:
Why can’t we just run an online campaign to pay Tom’s back taxes? That’s what they did with Joe the Non-Plumber when he got exposed.
1. Undecided – Nope. Registered Republican. Clearly supports McCain.
2. Plumber – Nope. Not licensed in Ohio.
3. Income – Nope. Does not come close to exceeding $250,000 annually.
Complete and total fraud of a narrative and story.
I’d also add that since his voter registration does not match his acceptable ID, Joe better not vote or he’s committing voter fraud! Someone get the ORP on the case please. You think they’ll toss out Joe’s registration and not allow him to vote? We wouldn’t want to destroy the electoral foundation upon which this great country was founded…would we?
Lots of new and interesting information coming out about our friend “Joe the Plumber”. First, he’s not a plumber – at least a registered or licensed one:
“Joe the Plumber” isn’t a plumber — at least not a licensed one, or a registered one.
A check of state and local licensing agencies in Ohio and Michigan shows no plumbing licenses under Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher’s name, or even misspellings of his name.
So there’s that. Add to it the guy appears to OWE current taxes:
In December, 2007, the Ohio Department of Taxation placed a lien against him because $1,183 in personal property taxes had not been paid, but there has been no action in the case since it was filed.
So before we worry about what your theoretical tax rate might be, how about you pay that taxes you owe Joe?
Now, add to this the fact that divorce fillings appear to show Joe made about $40,000 annually in 2006 and you have a completely exposed fraud. Unless this unlicensed plumber has seriously increased his annual income in the past two years (to the tune of 500%+ increase), he’ll actually be getting a TAX CUT under the Obama plan.
How amazing is that? Media is camped out at Joe Wurzelbacher’s house this morning and he’s available!!! This is the hard working single dad that “gets up at 4:30am” and “doesn’t get home until 6 or 7″.
Reaction to talking with Obama about his proposed tax plan: “I wasn’t impressed. In fact, it upset me. For someone to sit there and say you’ve done too good, and I’m going to penalize you now. In essence that’s what he said. I’m paraphrasing, but you done too good; I want some more of your money now. That’s wrong. That’s wrong across the board and I can’t imagine someone not agreeing with that. I can’t imagine America not agreeing with that,†Wurzelbacher.
His advice to other voters: “Do your own homework. Don’t sit there and take your friends’ advice. Don’t sit there and take TV’s advice. Do your own homework. Find out what you really want instead of what your union steward wants, what anyone wants. That’s my biggest thing right there. Do your own homework,†Wurzelbacher.
Although it seems Wurzelbacher supports McCain, he refuses to say who he plans to vote for come November 4th.
So the big buzz after last night’s debate appears to be
MSNBC just referred to this guy as “an undecided voter”. Let’s dispense with that claptrap straight away. Joe came into his discussion with Obama a McCain voter. He came in to the debate as a McCain voter. He’s a McCain voter. It’s not hard if you are observant. This guy will be exposed.
Exhibit A
Watch this video:
At :25 Joe says “McCain came across with some solid points and I was real happy about that…”
What undecided voter says that? This guy was looking for McCain to “make some solid points” and he was “real happy about that”. He had an agenda going into the confrontation with Obama. He had prior opinion of how he wanted the debate to go. That much is clear.
Exhibit B
Joe has been on so many right wing talk shows it appears pretty obvious that this is a coordinated attempt to pull a last second “tax and spend” haymaker. Family Security Matters, a wingnut security policy thinktank, has the first interview with Joe after this Obama encounter. Hmmm. What’s the chance that a group like this gets the first interview with this alleged “undecided voter”?
Here’s the kicker though. In that interview Joe says this:
PM: Has there been a lot of media interest in your story? Have you been getting a lot of calls from the media asking you to talk about this?
JW: Neil Cavuto, I was on his show earlier today, just a phone interview for about five minutes. He asked a couple of questions. Then a talk show – Trey Ware – he has a conservative talk show down in San Antonio, Texas – he picked up on it. I’ve had friends call me from all over the nation, saying they heard Rush Limbaugh quote something from me or they’ve heard Hannity quote something. I guess it’s getting quite a bit of play.
What random middle class plumber who is undecided uses the phrase “getting quite a bit of play”? This sounds like stuff politicos I hang out with say or what political analysts might say. Sure doesn’t sound like a random plumber from Toledo.
Exhibit C
This guy’s story doesn’t even add up. His messaging is about as bad as the McCain campaign’s has been. First off, it’s very curious that this new business he wants to buy brings in an amount just above Obama’s $250,000 cutoff. Coincidence? I think not. Also, it should be pointed out and asked of Joe whether that is revenue or net income. If it’s revenue, then he would be making way less than the cutoff. He’d also probably have to buy the business for more like 3-4x that amount. How he has that much cash to buy a plumbing business would be a good question. We know the credit market is such that he would have trouble getting it financed. If it’s actual profit that he would make personally, then he isn’t middle class at all!
Joe can’t have it both ways. He’s either so successful that he makes well more than $250,000 annually, or he should support Obama’s plan because he’ll get more of a tax cut because his income will fall well below the cutoff point.
Watch this one closely. I have a feeling it’s not going to work out so well for Joe or the McCain camp.
