What do you call it when someone puts out a falsehood in a campaign, gets corrected on the matter, but then continues to use said falsehood?
I call it fucking lying. Not sure about you.
Steve Austria and his campaign manager Brad Mascho continue to push this story about Sharen Neuhardt “harboring an illegal” right on the front page of their site. Even though the entire thing has been proven absolutely false. Over and over and over. Maybe someone in the press can ask them why they continue to lie to the voters of the 7th.
According to court records, Umohoza is currently in the country legally. He was granted a temporary stay on June 24, 2005, by a U.S. District Court judge in southern Ohio. And most recently, a magistrate judge, Sharon Ovington, recommended last month that he be allowed to stay in the country, calling Umohoza “the type of person — hardworking, intelligent, ambitious, law-abiding — who would normally be expected to provide positive contributions to American society.â€
I call on Brad Mascho to immediately remove from Steve Austria’s campaign website any lie that either states or intimates that Sharen Neuhardt “harbored an illegal alien”.
Anything less and Brad Mascho and Steve Austria can still be considered fucking liars. I’ll await word.
Oh, and I wish Matt Hurley would correct the record on his blog so we wouldn’t have to know it for being a lying, shilling, oppo outlet for the GOP. Do the right thing Matt Hurley!
Matt Hurley gets punked by Roll Call along with Steve Austria and Brad Mascho. There is no harboring of illegal alien. But thanks for smearing the young man! Great work. Fucktards.
From Roll Call:

Can you find this document and Scribd it for us Matt?
Thanks, buddy!
PS – Think before posting an entire oppo packet sent to you by a campaign. Do some research of your own as well. But mostly, THINK!
So it’s “leftard” now. That’s the latest bit of goodness from those that would call us here at Plunderbund profane. Ain’t it cute? Leftard. All the cool wingnut kids are using it! Especially the Starfleet Commanders!
1. Matt Hurley can use Scribd to post documents the Austria campaign funneled to him. If you think this dumbass researched all these documents then I got a bridge to sell you up in Alaska.
2. Matt Hurley can name call with the best of them. Matt, come on. Leftard? PlunderDUMB is much better. Do your homework.
3. Matt Hurley is a fucking liar. I just “happened across” the DDN article? I just found these documents really quick online after I read the article, which is the first time that I heard about this “illegal alien harboring”?! Serious, Matt? Come on. You are also lying (maybe unknowingly) about stating “Mr. Umuhoza is, in fact, an illegal alien.” I’m gonna give you a bit of wiggle room here because you’re obviously not too up on legal shit. It could be more uninformed than willfully lying. Cut you some slack here.
4. Matt Hurley, like his good buddy and namesake Matt Naugle, is a tool for the GOP and their campaigns.
5. Matt Hurley is no lawyer. The stay he posts and claims says Umuhoza is illegal actually proves the opposite. It says he’s legal while the courts sort it out. (Update: Matt’s document might not be the stay that says he’s here legally. There is one dated June 24, 2005 – which Matt doesn’t post of course. The research is incomplete because it is oppo being fed by an opponent.)
So this “harboring an illegal” claptrap is a vicious attack against a political opponent being perpetrated by the Steve Austria campaign. You are a pawn in this game, Matt. An absolute clueless fucking pawn. How does that make you feel?
At least if you’re going to smear someone, get your facts straight before you start posting people’s information online.
And yes, you sure as shit CAN get a PI for just “walking back from drinking beers with your buddies”. WTF do you think a PI is? I can’t hold too much against a kid who escaped absolute genocide insanity in Rwanda having a drinking problem. He’s obviously got issues. Matt decides to smear him and Sharen Neuhardt’s family for it. Good play, Matt! Good play!
Matt tries to use me as his excuse, claiming he “has to reveal information” because of my post? LOL. That’s some crazy reasoning right there. Own it Matt. You decided to push this out because you are being spoon fed by Steve Austria and Brad Mascho. You might be the puppet, but you still have to own it. Be careful, though. I get a feeling you know not much of what you do. I wouldn’t want them to get you in any trouble.
So homie publishes all this oppo shit, then holds back a mugshot and claims class? ROFL. What a tool. You’re on the wrong side of this one, Matt. Your wingnut border fence, shoot the illegals as they come through the fence mentality has clouded your otherwise Christian views.
I notice Matt doesn’t provide any documents to support this which was in the original DDN story:
In late August, a federal magistrate recommended to a federal judge that current immigration laws are unconstitutional as applied to Umuhoza. The government has until Oct. 15 to file objections.
I wonder why that is? Oh, yeah. Mascho didn’t feed them to him!
You remember the Constitution, right Matt?
I’d comment and defend myself at Matt’s place, but he’s still being a dipshit and I get this message: “Banned by webmaster. Your comments will not be added”. Free speech ho!
Not only that, but Mr. Flip Flop himself can’t make up his damned mind. First he posts that “I Condemn the Liberal Magazine New Yorker” (that’s the title of the post), then he tells Tim via email:
Well, Tim, the New Yorker isn’t a conservative magazine and quite frankly, I don’t really give a damn what the New Yorker does…
I don’t give a damn, but I write a separate post about it. Uhuh.
I condemn the shouting the New Yorker cover does by highlighting the smears against Obama, but I will continue to whisper Hussein every chance I get.
Good to know hypocrisy is still alive and well on the right! Good show, Captain Hurley! Good show!
Just when I thought hilarity would cease and we’d not have any more fun close to the level of “Jessica the racist bitch“, here comes Matt Hurley. Matt is proprietor of Weapons of Mass Discussion, an Ohio wingnut with a pretty creative name but with web design that just may blind you. Seriously. I’ve warned you.
Joe already posted here about the insanity of getting all worked up over a campaign logo that borrows elements from The Presidential Seal. (It’s not like he’s running for PRESIDENT or anything). So big deal, right? Where’s the hilarity. Well, that comes in when Matt’s analysis includes Star Trek references. I’ll let Matt tell you why this is so serious.
Stop smiling. Matt is serious here.
I’ll let Matt tell you…damnit stop laughing! Can you not understand this is a matter of national defense and the very fabric of our country is at stake here! Shit! Stop the grab assing and listen to Matthew tell you why this is such a serious matter.
Go ahead Matt:
I am reminded of a Star Trek novel with the title of Dreadnought! by Diane Carey throughout this whole episode. Specifically, the character of Vice Admiral Rittenhouse, who is the main villain of the book, is the only officer in the history of the Starfleet to ever have had the audacity to create a “personal command emblem” which was worn by all the personnel who served with him. Rittenhouse plotted to take over the Federation by force and install himself as a benevolent dictator. In other words, he was a fascist. What tips Kirk and company off about Rittenhouse’s real character and motivations is the emblem and I can’t help but think that we ought to hear what Obama really thinks about this seal before we just let the issue go away.
I’m not kidding people. Cut the damned laughter out and understand the gravity of the situation we are dealing with here.
Are you surprised that Matt used a Star Trek reference? I’m not. Afterall, he lists being a “Starfleet Commander (CEO)” as one among many political and leadership experiences in his bio at his blog:
Political / Leadership Experience
Commander Starfleet (CEO): Starfleet Officers Club (Star Trek fan club and non-profit, charitable organization)
So while Matt may be very qualified to give us the inside scoop on what happened in the book Dreadnought! by Diane Carey, I’ll leave it to our good readers to decide if the guy is qualified to judge whether Obama’s campaign logo is akin to him wanting to establish some kind of “Imperial Presidency”.
If Matt were worried about that, It begs the question where the hell Matt has been during the time George W. Bush actually DEMONSTRATED a desire to set up a fucking “Imperial Presidency”. Not. One. Fucking. Word. I guess imagery is more important to Matt than actual events. You can bet your ass if a right winger had such a logo it would be a “thoughtful expression of patriotism”.
These guys are way too easy. November is going to be fun watching them cry. Dude promises “What the Great Seal of Obama Might Actually Mean for America” in his title, then gives us a Star Trek reference? LOL. Damn…
Sweet mother of mercy and all that is bright and good can you believe we get to do this for another couple months before they all go move to some outpost in West Jordan, Utah?
