The leaders of the Republican Party said no yet again. This time to a joint agreement from the leaders of the Democratic Party, which:
…called for ?elected officials of both parties to set an example of the civility we want to see in our citizenry.?
?We also call on all Americans to respect differences of opinion, to refrain from inappropriate forms of intimidation, to reject violence and vandalism, and to scale back rhetoric that might reasonably be misinterpreted by those prone to such behavior.”
But they’re not fanning any flames of violence, intimidation, hatred, or anger. No! No way!

Full Story... →Let’s see.? Get paid over $200k a year to head up a major political party and have (or take) time to go around personally enriching yourself giving speeches?
Two things of note:
1.? Shouldn’t past GOP chairman be cheering this relative to their free market principles?? Ahoy!
2.? No more railing against “elites” for Steele.? Mr. 15k speeches and first class only airfare.
3.? I thought speeches were bad?

The Hill reports that Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele was on a radio show and asked about the GOP could reach out to African-American voters.? And here’s what transpired:
MARTIN: But your candidates got to talk to them. One of the criticisms I’ve always had is Republicans — white Republicans — have been scared of black folks.
STEELE: You’re absolutely right. I mean I’ve been in the room and they’ve been scared of me. I’m like, “I’m on your side” and so I can imagine going out there and talking to someone like you, you [...]
If you haven’t been following the recent drama involving RNC Chairman Michael Steele and too-much-of-a-religious-nut-to-be-RNC-chairman Ken Blackwell, then let me give you a quick overview…
Steele and Blackwell are two of the rarest individuals on earth: African American Republicans. They both ran for RNC chairman this year – along with a couple of old, racist white guys.
The election process was far [...]

I actually watched this live and was smiling from ear to ear after the “ugly incendiary” comment. Thanks DL!
Full Story... →LOL. So the narrative is now set in like a good hillbilly heroin buzz. Rush calls out Steele. Steele slams Rush. Rush smacks Steele in show. Steele apologizes:
?My intent was not to go after Rush ? I have enormous respect for Rush Limbaugh,? Steele said in a telephone interview. ?I was maybe a little bit inarticulate. ? There was no attempt on my part to diminish his voice or his leadership.?
ROFL.
RNC Chairman neutered.
Democrat narrative in full effect.
Rightwing gassbag and drug addict Rush Limbaugh leads the modern day Republican Party.
That was [...]
Full Story... →So this is the way the RNC Chairman Michael Steele is going to rebrand the Republican Paryt? By saying MY BAD? LOL
“Tonight, we tell America: we know the past, we know we did wrong. My bad,” said Steele. “But we go forward in appreciation of the values that brought us to this point.”
“My bad” may be hip and all, but…um…
