Anyone else notice the irony of rain today? Remember when wingnuts prayed to God to make it rain on Obama’s acceptance speech in Denver?

Anyone find it funny that instead it is raining on teabagging parties? Everywhere I look on TV it’s umbrella city.

I tried to tell you that rain wouldn’t dampen the desire for change. Rain wouldn’t dampen the enthusiasm we all have for a fresh new brand of leadership. Rain simply could not wash away the change we need. Supporters in Denver could have proven it if the Christfascists at Focus on the Family would have had their way.

The background: Focus Action, the political arm of Focus on the Family published a video by director of digital media Stuart Shepard in which Stuart asked people to pray for it to rain on Obama’s acceptance speech at Mile High in Denver.
